Have you ever considered having private meditation sessions? Over my nursing career, I utilized my training in meditation to aid patients in their ability to be more relaxed, require less pain medication, be more focused and watched them gain mobility and heal quicker.
In the past few years, clients who have come to me for their healing and transformation sessions have requested me to provide private sessions to learn how to meditate. Often times, these clients have told me “I’ve tried it and it doesn’t work”. I reply, “you haven’t worked with me”.
Can people block themselves? You bet! I’ve watched patients in front of me have a very serious heart attack, while I was standing there administering pain medication IV along with something to relax them and NOTHING WORK. Why? because they were so angry. Modern medicine would say that the IV medications should work. Reality says, not necessarily so. That was my first experience in witnessing the power of blocking.
So what does it take to meditate? A process of allowing. Being present. Tuning into one’s breath. Becoming one’s breath. Observing and being the observer.
I also feel very strongly that not everyone is cut out for group settings. It is up to the facilitator to provide support, protection and care to the client. Often times, this is not provided in group settings. People are asked to “share their experience” to the whole group. Doing this is not necessarily appropriate for the person, given what they have experienced in their life or the state of being they currently find themselves in. A doctor of Psychiatry once told me that one has to be very careful with people’s memories and emotions.
The meeting of one’s soul, as I like to call it, is a very profound experience. Each time we pay a visit to our Higher Self or Over Self, we learn more. We connect deeper.
The private meditation sessions I provide begin with the utmost trust. Clients know they are in caring, compassionate hands and that they will be supported, no matter what shows up for them during the meditation.
As a person expands in their abilities and awareness, they may want to seek out group meditation. Done in the right way, and for the right reason, it can be very powerful. Some people choose to go back and forth between private and group meditation settings.
I tend to focus on those who want to learn or gain confidence in meditating and those who are expanding their awareness, connecting with their Spirit Guides or Angels and utilizing meditation in manifesting their heart’s desires.
Sessions are 90 minutes to allow conversation, the meditation practice and question and answer period. This can be done in person, via Skype or phone.
The investment is very reasonable, at $90 per session. Clients tell me they are so pleased with the personal care, attention and guidance and feel ready to continue their practice at home. Followup is always provided.
I look forward to connecting with you.
